External battery cut-off

The VDL´s have two battery cut off switches, one on the outside and one on the inside. External battery cut off location. Find the switch and turn it 90°

Ac control unit

BLUE: Driver´s area controls, 1. Airflow recirculation. 2. Fan speed 3. Location of airflow 4. Driver temperature. RED: Red area is controls for passenger compartment and webasto (ovens) AC on or off 2. Webasto linked to AC (rarely used). 3. Air recirculation. 4. Ovens on or off. 5. Fanspeed. 6. Oven preheat time setting (rarely used) 7. Temperature. 8. Up and down arrows. To set the temperature or fanspeed for the passengers it is slightly different. You must first press the fan icon or button number 5 and THEN adjust fanspeed with the arrow key number 8. The same must be done when adjusting the temperature, press the temperature button labeled number 7 THEN use the arrow keys to adjust the temperature up and down.

Door control´s and hatch locks

1.Passenger door controls 2.Passenger lighting controls 3.Hatch “locks” 4.Passenger restroom power 5.Fan above the driver on either side. 3. Must be pressed and “unlocked” to open, by default they are locked when the bus is turned on or off. 4. The passenger restroom button must be pressed to “turn on “ the power to the restroom, also unlocks the door and allows use. 5. The fan button turns on additional fans to aid in the clearing of Fog on the windshield (useful in heavy rain and wet conditions)

Gear selector switch.

To the left of the driver above the AC panel is where the gear selector on VDL´s is located.

DriveM and ReaverseM are only used at very very low speeds for “crawling” forward or backwards. When reverse gear is selected the reverse camera will appear in the middle of the display between the rpm and speedometer

Fuel door

The fuel door is located on the passenger side behind a locked “flap”. To refuel the silver cap pictured on the right image. Is unscrewed and opened.

AdBlue

Adblue tank is located passenger side rear on the VDL locked with a key.

Guide mic location

In some if not all of the VDL´S the guide microphone is hidden in a little compartment next to the guides seat. Inside is a mic with a long cable, be sure to return it into its storage compartment after use and at stops to avoid damaging the cable.

additional items and cleaning supplies

not pictured, Cleaning supplies can be found above the first row of seats behind the driver and on the right side (passenger side) additional cleaning supplies can be found in the passenger luggage compartment such as a broom, vacuum cleaner and a mop handle. If any of the cleaning items are missing and or empty such as any spray or if you require additional cleaning supplies you are able to request such things from the cleaning staff as they know where and how to refill and where to get extra mops and rags for cleaning.
