Opening front doors

The red circle on the left is around the locking mechanism of the door, to open the door it must be unlocked. The red circle on the blue flag on the front is a little plastic button, to open the front door you press once, let go, then press and hold, sometimes this takes a few tries and then the door will open. 

Fuel door

There are 2 fuel doors on the king long c12 one on the passenger side on the King Long C12 buses. And one on the driver side. The passenger side door will block the fuel door. The door is opened with the same key that fits in the front door.

Battery cut off location king long C12 (longer

The battery cut off on the C12 King Long is located on the rear right side of the bus. Under a flap that is not locked.Inside this flap is a red winged “key” often called “kill switch”, that you turn 90° and it should turn on or off the power from the batteries to the bus. Turning the batteries off from the bus should be done each time you are planning to stop for more than 30 minutes, or at the end of the day as it risks draining the batteries and shortening their lifespan.

AdBlue Tank location

The AdBlue Tank on this King Long C10 is right next to the batteries, it requires a key to open the hatch. This key is used to open the hatch. This key is most often found inside the bus to the left of the driver, or in the middle compartment on the dashboard. The lock is located on the bottom middle of the hatch. Twist the key and pull from the bottom middle to lift-up the hatch. Be careful as it might be difficult or “sticky” to open it up depending on conditions it can be wet and iced over or not.

ADblue tank

The AdBlue tank is circled in red, you twist it off and refill it at an Olís station, the gun fits inside the tank no problem. The AdBlue should always be refilled after every tour or trip, before you return the bus to headquarters.

Resetting the Diesel heater (webasto)

In case the Webasto heater does not start for whatever reason, the first thing to do is to check the heater itself, on the C12 King Long, it is located in the hatch with the batteries and the AdBlue tank, next to the Adblue tank that is the Auxiliary diesel heater.BE CAREFUL THIS HEATER CAN BE VERY HOT On top of the diesel heater cylinder is a plug on the King Long C12 that is not the same as all the other King Longs. You will need to unplug this plug while the bus ON and the Webasto heater switched ON, on the HVAC panel inside the bus.
